Hey I finally got my ornate & delhezi from a LFS! Was so excited when I looked at both of them swimming together side by side, so I was thinking, well, since im planning to get 1 of each, why not get those 2?

And I did!

Special thanks to the people who helped me with my stocking ideas

Both of them are around 4 inches, got the ornate at $12 and the delhezi at $18. By the way, Im not sure if its a delhezi, so ill post some pictures, help me identify please :)

Here are some pics of them, currently acclimating both of them

Once again I can only confirm the identity of an Ornate (even a dumb kid could do that). Please help me identify if the other one is a delhezi. From my experience, it is definitely NOT a lower jaw

Yup, 100% Ornate and Delhezi.
Nice. Enjoy!

Thanks for clarifying! I was unsure as the tank water they were in at the LFS is dark brown from all the tannin in the driftwood. I accidently caught an Endlicheri just now and when I took a look at it in the bucket, it was apparant it was a lower jaw, so i net it back into the tank.

Mine is a 70 gallon for now. Planning to upgrade once my babies grow up :)

Try starve them a day or two, then add the pellets and wait. If they don't eat after about 2 hours, take out the pellet and try again tomorrow. It's stubbornness would eventually give in to the hunger.

Very nice buddy,congrats.

Thanks steve, cant wait for them to grow up to sizes like yours
