Got My Third(Long Finned!) Bichir!!

Got him from Wally world. And he is a long fin(Got him for only $6)!!!

He is about 4.5 inches. And gorgeous!!

But he is so pale that he is almost albino!! Is this a normal coulour for them? Lol... If not, then do bihcirs get anemic? Yes I'm serious.

But he IS really a most cool colour. Pics as soon as I can get my camera back.

Depending on the water quality and/or color gravel, it could get pale.

Well he IS from Walmart so that says it all.

But he is such a love. He is so friendly! To me and the other bichirs. I've never seen one so friendly and curious in a new tank!! Comes right up to me!!!!

Boy! He had a good dinnner too. Beefheart, bloodworms and some sinking carnivour pellets.

I know. I am waiting to get my camera back.(Which is driving me crazy- all these new fish and no pics!!) I'm sorry. Should be next week some time. I promise.

Oh- and I looked up pics of some long fins on this board and my Bichir("Leaker") looks the same as them. Way longer than my other two's. So I'm pretty sure.
