So after practising in the aquael (lucky really lol)
And the tank leak etc
I have to keep telling myself it was the mdf that made it leak, NOT my slate,
so I plan to do same thing...but.. any suggestions, tips, tricks, even fish ideas be greatly welcomed and appreciated
1st idea, add my sevs as they could well breed if not with gt pair
2, put gt pair in as they upset the tank when breeding pushing everyone up one end even attacking bn pleco,
3, keep the set up I have and get a new fish,
4, put demps in it and do up their 240l which then still leaves room for a new fish in their old tank

Decisions decisions, any input will be gratefully received cos I can't decide :)

I would definitely have a place the severum can go for when the GT finally blows his gasket. This doesn't mean you have to remove them now, I would just have a back up plan for if the GT decides the whole tank is his territory. That still pretty much leaves your options open. Could you list the tank sizes and inhabitants? For whatever reason the American in my brain refuses to understand how litres relate to gallons, and without knowing the tank sizes it makes giving an informed response difficult.

350 litres, 48 inch corner to corner, 34 inch width from front to back. 25 inch height (I think) - Trigon 350

Trigon in white looks amazing :)

I've found that the footprint is a problem, especially for cichlids; the GT pair definitely gets my vote though; so I can see if its something I'd copy haha :P

6ftx24x20 tank has 2 sevs, texas, 2 gt, 6 clown loach, 1 common pleco, few bns

1mx45x50cm has 2 demps

CT tank is 60cm x40x50 it's 100ltr

It's on my profile in tank set up info all the details as it's only rough measurements
this is current set up

I would probably put the GT in the trigon between spawns, it will give you more options. I'm guessing the texas is pretty passive if he hasn't taken over the whole tank yet.
