got new stingrays but having trouble

got two motoro stingrays, but my stupid parrot cichlid is picking at their stingers... hes not really attacking them or anything just seems like hes curious. could you see this being problomatic?

Cichlids can be problematic for that reason and others, like picking at end of tails and eyes.
I even had some Geos that were trying to pick at their tails, so out they went.

you would suggest losing him them? i was thinking the same i would rather give him away as he was six bucks rather tham my 2 160 dollar rays lol

I would, but that is up to you. Better than your ray losing an eye. Besides Parrot cichlids are ugly anyways.

my parrot killed the ray. i bought that stupid parrot for cycling too.

he doesnt seem to be bothering them anymore but ive decided if i c him doin it again im going to get rid of him, thanks for the advice

it killed your ray? holy crap! i thought with their small mouth they couldnt really do that much damage

it was biting it. the ray heals and it bites it again. its my fault really, cuz i'm in the process of setting up a new tank and wanted to use those parrots to cycle again. like you said a few dollars and ended losing 100.
