was that a Jag? i heard they were extremely agressive, i used to have a 10 inch jag and it would attack a 20 inch irred shark!:/ do they fight?:/

yup, that's my male jag. There's a breeding pair in the tank... When the ornate gets close to their nesting spot they chase her away but other than that the jags ignore her. The breeding jags are nicer to the ornate than my flowerhorn ever was, have to keep that guy in solitary.
Rare_Cichlids, that's awesome, when I got my ornate she was around 13-14 inches. I got her April 30th of this year. She gets mixed seafood(pollock, shrimp, squid, octopus, mussels) and the occasional piece of liver or heart since she doesn't like pellets and I don't want to waste $$ on feeders.
