got plecos?

hey all

i am planning to get a small pleco that will only grow 5 inchs max. but my my father says ( we share the tank) that it has to be exotic,pretty, you know stuff like that any suggestions? i was looking at some bristle nose plecos i really liked the red marble one but i dont know what stores sell it. it also needs to be compatible with tetras, corys, a loach, and a swordtail.oh yea it cant be to rare $35 is where im trying to stick. thx 4 the the help!

Depends on the loach and the tank... clown loaches this is a definite yes.

Yes, loaches like to be in groups. They are more confident and outgoing.

Not to derail the OP, but this is not true with every species of loach. The batik loach comes to mind.

Clown is a dwarf species, I would also say zebra but they run pretty high and are hard to find, we had some albino veil-fin bristlenose at the store the other day that were pretty sweet and they were about 15 dollars...you could also go gold nugget (larger than 6") snowball, royal, or other common oddball plecos
