got some small silver dollars, columbian tetras and neon tetras from petsmart at $1 each. retail was a lot more. so for everyone that's looking for some dither fish for their tanks head to petsmart and get some :)
 
hahaha i got 25 tetras a few days ago and i was letting them adjust to the water so i ran to subway (i can see if from my house) the bag was destroyed and i could only find one left...... :(
 
oh boy that sux.

I just dump them all into the tank, they were all fine.
 
I just picked up 2 more Buenos Aires (now have 8 total), thats all they had. I also got 3 silver dollars, but I may have to take them back. The BAT's are chasing them.

They had Buenos Aires, Black Skirts, Lampeyes, Neon, Cardinals, and Silver Dollars for $1 at my local store. They also have some very clean tanks and 2 really good fish people that know their stuff.
 
Petsmart has been having some great sales. They had a pleco sale a few weeks ago. I ended up with 11 new plecs, (rubber noses, hi fin, and a weird chocolate) all for a $1 a piece.
A friend there hid the chocolate in a different tank waiting for me to stop by so some "idiot" wouldn't buy him. :)

I know I should've done the same but I like to live dangerously, j/k
I've never had problem from that one petsmart (knock on wood) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed now....

Because I can :D Whatever comes into my house goes into the Q tank first. That's what it's for. Meds are IMO no match to 7 tbsp salt/10 gal and time. I am somewhat extra cautious when it comes to my pirayas, considering what I would spend replacing them...
JP, at least you know the plants will be free of pathogens ;) Are you coming to the Shark AQ on the 13th? --> HERE <-- post #22. I could bring a bag of green for you :)
