got stabbed by a 2ft rtc please help fast!!!

hey guys just got stabbed by my rtc in my hand pretty good. just wondering if i should b worried or go to the hospital for bacteria or infection we cleaned it with peroxide and butterflyed it up.

thanx in advance. quicker the advice the better
 
wash with warm water and soap maybe even let it soak, then possibly take an anti-inflamatory and you should be set. although i am no expert.
 
yeah just warm water soap. and poor rubbing achohol over it and youll be fine. an asprin to help the pain and thats it.
 
Any type of animal bite it is a good idea to get it looked at consdering that the Catfish is from a tropical place with some bad known water sicknesses. Also more would be known about dog and cat bites and satches then a tropical catfish.

On this animal planet program called Fatal Atractions they showed someone who had pet montour lizards in his apartment and he got bit by one of them and three days later the wound got infected and he died form it.
 
ive get stabbed prolly 15 times a week by catfish. (i clean a bunch from fishing) and have been stabbed once by my RTC and have never had a problem. The guy that died from the monitor bite was an idiot and thats why he died. Also you cant compare reptile bites to fish pokes. haha
