So i finally got the tank here, and have measured it it's 7 feet long 3.3 feet wide and 3 feet tall which works out to sumthin like 518 gallons, it has a bunch of filtration stuff and i think a big like refrigerator chiller or sumthing, i haven't really got a chance to look at what it came with, i had to take it cuz i was first there otherwise there were a bunch of people who also looked at it and offered some money so i figured grab it while i had a chance, hopefully some of you here can tell me what i am gunna need to set it up as a fresh water tank ( i will be buiding a hood for it but not sure on what type of lighting to go for i don't know if i will be growing any plants cuz that would take extreme amounts of light)
i live in a one story house on a concrete slab so weight isn't really too much of an issue,
uhh as for filtration right now it has some sort of old pool like canister filter, if i loaded that canister with a some sort of bio-media do u think it would be enough filtration??
the canister is about 2 feet deep, and 6 inches in diameter.
also for heating it has a chiller in it but if i ran warm water thru the lines would it heat the tank??? if not what type of heating would u guys suggest,
