Got this tank free, need stocking suggestions

My mom picked this up for free out of her friends garage( With permission ofcourse) Does it sound like a decent setup? I havent seen it yet its a hundred miles away till i pick it up.

Any stocking suggestions ?

not too much you can do with a 10g.

you can go with a small shoal of tetras. easy to maintain, and they do well in a planted tank if you want to go that route.
if youe thinking something a little bigger, you can get a pair of SA dwarves (rams, apistos, kribs, ect)
or maybe a goldfish if youre into that sort of thing

hehe you got a good memory friend What should I grow out? I got a 15 gallon community tank running well so I can cycle the ten. I am thjinking of making it a hospital/quarantine tank . Would that be a good idea ?

PS is this good equipment ? I havent seen it yet. I know that eclipse stuff is expensive and its got a nice heater. I cant believe she just gave it away. Must have been an ex husbands or something lol.

cherry shrimp are great lil buggers and if you keep the water in check they breed like crazy (2 months ago i had 5.. now i have about 6 dozen)

Not a problem.

I dunno off the top of my head. Right now I have 4 Endli Birchirs growing out of a 30gal tall. You could try some Senegal Bichirs, they are very active, common, and not too expensive. you can get small ones under $10 usually.

I think they are decent stuff, not the worst, and not the best, they are good cause it hides almost everything.
