Hi, i always loved oscars, kept them for many years, brought them with me to my new home where they died (ph is 9 !) . I did not think i could keep oscars anymore cause of the high ph. Someone locally had some huge oscars that out grew his tank, he has ph of 8.5. so i figured they would do ok in my water. The tiger oscar is over 12 inches i think and the red oscar is around 10-11 but fatter and appears older to me by his body shape. He is also the dominate one. I have them in a six foot 135 gallon tank, they had been in a 75 gallon with a divider down the middle (other side had a flowerhorn) so they must be loving more room at my house lol. Here they are, keep in mind their color is washed out cause they are nervous and still pouting from the traumatic move. I will repost some better pics in a few days after they settle in.

Lol.. They won't eat the smaller fish? :P

Thanks everybody. Im sure they will eat the peacocks and yellow lab. I tried to catch them but there were too many and they were too small. I added in some more rockwork for hiding but im sure only the smartest fastest will survive.

I just love oscars. So happy i got them. They were my first cichlid 22 yrs ago and I always had some until recently. I thought my ph would kill them like before but these were raised in high ph (8.5) so my ph of 9 should be ok, they certainly look healthy to me. Cant say they are stunted LOL.
