There is too much talk about this car. It is nothing really if you think about it and the price tag is way over exagerated. Put this car up against any Indy car and then you will see this car is nothing. I know people are going to say but it's the fastest street legal car on the market, true BUT there is a whole new perception on speed these days. At least Indy cars can turn at 200 mph, you try that with the Bugatti have fun eating cement! Agile cars are a must when you are dealing with speed. This is why I would choose a Koenigsegg over a Veyhron any day. Koenigsegg are one of the most agile if not the most agile car at high speeds. Plus with a top speed of 245+ mph and half the price the Bugatti has definately got it's work cut out for it. All the Koenigsegg has (in the older cc model) is a V8 twin supercharged and it still puts out enough grunt to keep up with the Bugatti and possilbly surpass it as the Koenigseggs have never reached full top speed before so we don't know the actual speed the car is capable of. Plus it looks pretty LMAO. I am not knocking the Bugatti by no means I am just saying it isn't the car I would choose and it might not all be what it's cracked up to be. Still AWESOME piece of machinery!!
 
I agree with Cross127. The veyron is for rich people who want to wank on about how much money they wasted and how much power their car [theoretically] makes and how fast it [theoretically] is. I say theoretically because they will never ever push it to anywhere near its limits to ever find out.
I can think of a hundred cars I'd rather own that that ugly thing.

The price tag is outragous 1.2 million. I can buy an AMAZING Koenigsegg CCX and a Hefty down payment on a house possibly an entire house lol. Or Instead on the house I would buy a car truely worth owning Ferrari F40. The Bugatti is still a bullet fast car and puts out tons of power but wouldn't you rather have more refined power than just tons of it pounded. The Koenigsegg's have around 806bhp and the Bugatti has 1001bhp but that doesn't mean jack squat unless they are the same weight, aerodynamics, chassis, wheel base, etc as the list goes on and on. The Bugatti has many features to the car but many of those features can and are applied to many other fantastic vehicles. Your just paying for a car that hasn't taken a very big leap in engineering. I mean the Ferrari Enzo has the lift gate and hunker down abilty and so does the mercedes SLR mclaren. It's nothing new. Now if you want a speed rush go American and get yourself and Top Fuel Dragster LOL. Now that is speed 0-320mph in 5 seconds beat that bugatti!!!!
