Hey guys, i just bought a red and blue dwarf Gourami couple about a week ago and was interested in breeding them, any advise?

i think you have to lower the water level to about 6 inches and have lots of plants . the male builds a bubble nest and i think he gaurds the nest but im not sure

I bred these a couple times a long time ago. Just feed them well and raise the temperature, around 80 should do it. The male does use plants in his bubblenest, so you might want to have those around. Also, make sure the female has someplace to get out of sight in case they breed while you're not around. Good luck. . . . and let me know if you get any fry. I'd like to breed these again, but I can never find females anymore.

Thanks for the info, And if they breed ill sell u 1 of the female frys cuz they're hard to find

The male would most likely chase the female. Setup the breeding tank like a betta. Also, provide 2-3 caves for the female to escape to.

I have tonnes of caves in my aquarium where the female could hide, also wut do u mean like a betta?

they need to be kept away while feed bloodworms or tubflix worms. or the male will kill the female just like breeding betta.

A betta is a Siamese fighting fish.

If you don't want to ruin your weed put filter wool in the tank and he will use that.

Put a foam cup in cut down the middle. Acts likes a 'roof' thing. Helps the eggs stay in one spot. Read up on breeding 'Bettas'. Then just apply the same practice to the gourami's.
