Tank wise i have 8x 1.5 foot longx2 foot deepx 1 foot high, 2x 3 foot longx2foot deepx1foot high, 2 standard 2 foots and a spare standard 4 foot tank. please dont be shy fish terms i just dont know these kind of fish im used to the bigger eating type of fish :/ any tips, pics on tankset up, larvae, fry growout and feeding and ofcourse the triggers! Thanks all!

Most gouramis are bubble nest breeders (a few species are mouthbrooders). Condition the pair on a high protein diet (live foods are great) for a couple of weeks until female's belly is plump. Provide floating plants or floating piece of styrofoam for male to build bubble nest. The rest is easy.

As far as the ancistrus go, better off with a pair or one male and a couple of females. Provide a long cave with a small opening on one end (opening should be a little larger than the width of the male). Condition the fish for a couple of weeks on a vegetable diet(Zucchini and green beans are great foods for them). Male will chase female into cave, spawn, and then fan the eggs until they hatch. Eggs are quite large. Very easy fish to spawn. Can be spawned in a 10 gallon tank. Fry can be fed zucchini, green beans, or flake food.
