RD. got it for his numerous contributions such as his stickies which have helped many aquarists. Check out the Freshwater Diseases and Health Issues section to see some of his contributions to the community in regard to stickies. But he's also contributed much more such as his insights on fish food, cichlids, hybrids, etc, etc and the many answers he's helped fellow members with when they needed information. If you look at his messages/post count you can see that he engages the community more than most, but I want to point out is not just the quantity of posts RD. has put out but their quality that has earned him Gold Tier Awards.
