i just need to know the gph for 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 pipe as i need to decide what size bulkheads i want to install in a 220g that i am going to have built. i would like the option to run some major turnover rates if i want. thanks.

I have two 1.5" overflows in my 180g. I ran 3600gph in it at one point. One thing to think about when you're going for high flow overflows is the depth of the water above the overflow height. Meaning how your overflows are designed. If you have 6" of water above the overflows you can flow a lot more than if they're barely submerged. I had about 1" of water on top of mine for the 3600. That is how much pressure the overflows needed to be able to drain that much water.
