Grade and sex on these two flowerhorns.

They were from the same batch. Te dad is a mid grade rd fader and mom is low-mid grade fader. Here the parents. And the 3rd pic is the mom but with a different male that I'm trying to breed.

The female is a bit larger and chases the male until he finds a hiding spot then it starts again. Does this mean an unsuccessful pair or just fight for dominance. I have to get them to my 50 gal after I move some fish. Should this tone this down?

I have another larger pair and the female is also more agressive but they chase or fight then stop. I heard this is good for pairs. The larger pair the male is 7" and the female is 6". My small pair they are both about 4" but the male is just a tad smaller is there any mixing up I could do. The owner said if I put the 2 smaller ones with my male that it will become dominant over the small male and breed with the female. I'm just worried of my fish getting beat up.
