I am thinking of getting 1,but have read a few threads that say they can be troublesome to keep.What are some of the problems with keeping these guys??Anyone keep these??Any pics would be cool too,Thanks!!!!

Ya know I too have been reading some things. I got mine about 3-4 days ago. Already gettin used to me, only hides when Carpinte goes after him (i'm guessing a him, has red sprinkles thoughout body).
However, last night i noticed my Grammodes is already picking on my Rainbow Cichlid. I'm at work right now and am hoping he hasn't started biting yet. The Rainbow wasn't chewed up just yet.
Would love to hear/read more about them though.
Want to soak up as much info as i can!

Ill be honest,
Grammodes have a varied rep, I have 1 and he has been mellow, yet one from the same batch 1 of his/her brothers at 2.5" killed a 6" Female Jag....(not mine)
My personal experience is that they are shy when they are new, but as they gain condifence and get comfortable, they can be real sob's....
I will be putting mine in a 210 (6'x2'x30") with a similar sized Trimac, Festae and similar sized Red Texas (Texas x Midas).
I think that your stock may be in trouble......but that's just my opinion....
