can you post pics of your grammodes this size so i can tell weather the grammodes down the LFS are really grammodes???

also any info on grammodes would be appreciated.

Pair in a 55G.............I kept a pair in a 180 and the male still killed the female. A 55 is too small for a pair unless you divide the tank for the females safety but that would leave them 27.50 gallons each....too small IMO.

They grow slow and in a divided tank I think a 55 would work, I breed a lot of fish much larger than that in 50 gallon breeders tanks with dividers. I have a pair that are about 4-5" in my indoor pond with fish up to 12-13" and they hold their own just fine. Ken.

Where at in Ohio are you and what is the name of the LFS? I wouldn't mind finding a fish store in Ohio that stocks more rare cichlids like grammodes, unless it's too far. With the cost of gas, I don't want to burn too much money traveling.

Really nasty!! will kill any fish even much larger than themselves.I would also make sure you have really good lids they are rockets and like to jump, like mine did the other day sorry cross127 hes gone.
