Just picked up 9 of these guys ranging in size from 2" to 3 1/2". First time keeping them and its been about a long time since I have kept any Central American Cichlids. I have them currently in a 75 gallon. Any suggestions on tank decor? I will be feeding them that Grand Sumo Red food and earthworms. Can I keep a group of Cuban Cichlids with them?

9 grammodes should easily out grow that tank. I think two can be kept in that size. So if you find you want to let one go gimme a ring ;)

I'd provide a cave of some type per fish. They eat anything, but very little amounts.

That tank will be hell once they start pairing up and yea like darthodo said provide some sort of hiding spot for each fish

Darthodo is right, they don't gourge themselves that may be one reason why they grow slow. To get them to grow feed less more often and 30-50% water changes weekly.

as other's said, id give a cave each and maybe a couple more, u can keep a breeding pair in a 55g minimum. you will find they are very aggro aswell if you didnt know, some people call them "mini-dovii". are you going for a pair, i take it u r since tho u bought 9, im buying 5 to go in my 55G grow out and then eventually going to keep a pair in there.

oh yeh btw

Yes, going for a pair. I appreciate the input. I am aware that they are aggresive. A friend of mine that works at the LFS told me to take them home and breed them. He said that they get nice color. I'm currently feeding them Grand Sumo Red. Are they difficult to find?
