I have a 100 gallone tank that I would like to raise a 3" grammodes in, but would like to put other cichlids in their with him. I was thinking 5 spot jewel, red jewel, salvini, convict, and escondido. I plan to aquascape it with some space for the smaller fish to get away if needed. Grammodes is my favorite. I would like to get some suggestions on other ideas they may work or if what I am thinking can work. I also thought about just adding a mate and breeding them, but I am not sure if that is what I want to do. Also, is 100 gallons too small for a grammodes?

A 100 gallon is more that enough for a grammodes and a Few more other fish. Just make sure you have a lot of hiding places and all the fish are around the same size. If they grow u0p together it could work out. Also get a school of dithers large giant danios comes to mind. Good luck!

this basically covers it!

just keep an eye on the grammodes, they a vicous.

a grammode is ok in a 55 gal so a 100 gal is enough room and yeah all those tank mates seem ok expect the red jewel might be a little to small and narrow same size as a convict but convicts are bulker
