i am just getting into fh's and it appears that either grand sumo or chingmix is the way to go, but does grand sumo cause fish to be sterile? i was leaning towards the sumo because of people saying ching was hard to get their fish to eat.
all opinions are valued.
thanks

IDK I've heard the same about ching though.. heard it takes a few days before they will eat it..

It really depends on the fish. All but one of my fish love Chingmix and Grand Sumo, and they loved it immediately.

the only reason y ching is hard to get fish to eat is because it is tiny pellets, but GS food is also in a tiny pellet. i have used both, and honestly saw nothing to write any notes about. i have since changed to kensfish foods and i prolly will never look back.

yes he offers a no carb pellet, but currently it is only avail in a tiny pellet. however i have had no problems getting any fish to eat it. the size is about half the size of a ching or GS pellet.

hmm... i would try it, but i got 2 bags of ching left, and GS just came in 2 weeks ago, i got atleast 2 more months left lol

Been using grand sumo over a year and all my cichlids spawn every 3-4 weeks like clockwork, with every spawn getting larger. It's actually their favorite staple food.

Why would anyone think it will make the fish sterile?
