Yeah yeah, some of you guys might remember me as the guy who posted about the "Monster grass carp". Well, I eventually gave up on that, but I've found another awesome place to fish for them. A local park/lake, there has to be a couple hundred grassies in there...they are the easiest fish to catch. Get a surf fishing rod, a large hook, and a bread ball. Cast it out there, chum it up with bread...and there you go. Monster grass carps, on a good day I usually catch around 3 to 6 3-4 foot carp. When they appear, the come in large groups. Some of you may ask, "where's the pictures?" well...they are coming. This will be a thread about my carp fishing progress. I'm planning to head out this weekend. Don't be surprised if I don't post in here for a while, I have plenty of other things going on. Plus, killing triploid (Sterile) grass carp in FL is illegal, so I have to work fast when releasing them. Stay tuned!
