Decided to try setting up some grass in my filter to see if it helps with water quality. One week in and ive got good growth on the grass and the hornwort in the tank is mostly algae free
lol i did the same thing in my pond but not for filtration just for fun and see how well they grew. Interested to see if it actually soaks up some nitrates.
Thanks! Heres a side view of the tank. 50 plus guppies, 50 plus tadpoles, one ghost shrimp that just wont quit and a big ol opaline gourami. Plus snails of course
Grass has gone to seed but no water test today because i had to do a water change so i could clean up the hornwort needles. These tadpoles are sure messy though.
