Hello all, I stumbled upon a video that sparked my interest. In this video, the bottom of the tank/pond/exhibit has a grass like bottom. Is this possible to replicate in an aquarium? If so, how would you guys go about it?

Thanks,

That is a beautiful display!

I think the carpet is just naturally growing algae, though it would seem that the algae-browsing fish would trim it smooth. It might be more a factor of the hifin sharks' method of not grazing closely than anything being planted.

U need natural sunlight for that or high indoor lighting. Here is my old setup under intense T5 lighting. It looked great, but after awhile the algae dies off.
