I have two grass pickerels that are about 10 inches long and was just wondering if you could keep, others like arrowanna, gar, catfish, or any kind of bigger fish, just a thought so I thought i would through it out there and see what everybody thinks.

I think you should stick to Natural fish. Im sure a grass pickerel will be fine with any species bigger then its mouth. Have a look at MrCatfish's video on youtube, he has two grass pickerel (or so i can count) in his tank with various sunfish and carp. that might give you idea's

Here you go Everything leaves the grass pickerel alone. The sunfish do chase each other as they do the carp sometimes. The main thing is to make sure it's large enough not to be ate. The smallest fish in my tank is a 3 inch sunfish. My pickerel are 10 and 9 inches. My ten inch female has died since this video was made. I have also found that pickerel are much more active and eat more when their are more than one pickerel in the tank.

i love that tank, not overstocked, great selection in fish, very natural looking, with nice plants and lighting...but becaquse i love catfish, i think a bullhead would fit i nicely in that tank. haha as for the OP generally fish do best with fish that they would natively be found with. This is a good rule of thumb, so many of the sunfish species, or bullheads, crappie, perch...yo ge tthe idea. just try to keep in mind sizes so no one gets eaten. but Mr. Catfish's tank is an awesome example of a healthy tank with fish getting along quite well.

But their is a bullhead in that tank. It's about 6 inches and rest during the day under one of the logs. Their is a hollow spot under the one and it stays their until lights off. And thank you I'm glad others like my tank.
