im thinking of doing a grass bottom for the bottom of my 75 gallon cichla tank i was thinking something like this http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?202270-December-2008-TOTM-Winner just not as much grass should i use real plants or plastic plants if live plants what do you reccomend just to give my cichla a lot of hiding places

Use real plants, those in the picture look like Vallisneria.

And something that will thrive in sand
