Gravel shopping

I was just wondering what kind of black gravel you all would suggest. There are so many types that fade/chip out there and I just want some natural black gravel that is safe for bottom feeders and the red tail cuda's I'm going to be picking up soon. Any information leading to a good, deep colored, safe gravel would be great.

i used tof fin gravel from petsmart it was 8 bucks for 2 5 pound bags be carefull when adding it though and don't forget to wah it.

I wish I knew. The stuff I have all came with the tanks except for a few handfulls of the tiniest available CongaRoc (or however it's actually spelled). The CongaRoc that I bought really holds its jet-black integrity. I think it may actually be made of black rocks. 8|
