Gravel to Sand switch, opinions?

Yesterday I switched my 180g tank from natural-ish gravel to PFS. What do you guys think? Pictures before and after were taken with different cameras, the "after" being a MUCH lower quality camera.

I think the before arrangement looks better, but it depends on what you like and whichever way is easier to maintenance. Either way, it looks really cool. Nice job.

I myself prefer the PFS, but the gravel was good too. I switched for the sake of my clown loaches/ease of maintenance.

I have been using PFS on my other tank for quite some time. I was just too cheap (unemployed right now) to put it in my 180g.

looks nice, ill prob use pfs when i set my tank up again, i like the colour, not a fan of the really white sand...dosent look natural.
so do the CL like it?

Thanks. The sand is actually a lot darker than the lights make it seem, because I have very "white" LEDs. The loaches seem to really enjoy the sand. They're always basking out in the open, or under that driftwood pile as seen in the video, since I put it in.
