So I've used the same vac for about a year, using it to drain and refill. It came with the 55 gallon tank and the fish.
I was about to leave for 2 months, so I bought a longer vac, due to the caretaker while I was away being short (4'11") & aggressiveness of the fish.
Well, I went to use the new vac... drained and operated real nice. So, I go to refill, plug the drain in the bathroom and run back to the tank...
well I didn't know the NEW ones came with a backflow check valve. lol. I hear a squeal and the hose comes flying off the vac.. sprayin everywhere! a couple towels and some runnin around and it was back to normal.
