Gravel vac the left side of tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you typically don't need to remove anything when cleaning. It's not like gravel bottom tanks where you have to suck up every single piece of crap on the bottom. Just whirl the vac around and kick up stuff. You filter if adequate should clean out the floating debris. Disturbing the roots once they have settled into your substrate isn't the best idea unless you are redoing your entire tank. To prune, all you need is long scissors and cut in water, then net floating leaves.
