i was looking at some pics of the bichirs that you guys have and i saw that some ppl have no gravel do they do better with out any gravel?

You can use gravel, just make sure theyre big enough so they dont get swallowed...and trust me they will try to eat rocks

Sometimes bichirs as well as other fish can ingest gravel along with food stuff
if they can't regurgatate the gravel it can lead to intestinal blockage and death.This is why sand is recomended for poly tanks-Anne
