Well I was cleaning my 30 gallon tank today and noticed that one of my clown plecos is gravid. She's huge. There is a lot of driftwood in that tank, heck I had not seen the fish in several weeks. I also have a snowball pleco in the tank too, and he hangs out in the only real cave all the time.

So...... she is obviously up for it. Assuming the other one is a male how do I make this happen. The presence of another pleco, and about a dozen rainbow fish are complicating factors in the equation as well. I am assuming spawning takes place at the time the eggs are laid, so I can't just move her into a breeding tank. I have no idea how to work this. Especially since the tank I use for breeding shrimp is over run by danio fry right now.

Could I partition off part of the tank they are in and make them a cave with driftwood?? If so how long do I leave the parents in? Do the young hide as well as they do? If so it will be fun figuring out if they have hatched.
