Gray/dark gray rocks...So-Cal PU only

I'm looking for some gray or dark gray rocks/boulders. I've tried many landscaping supply shops in So-Cal and none of them carry it. I'm looking for some in the 5"-8" size. If anyone has some for sale or knows a shop that sells them, please let me know.......
I'll definitely appreciate any help at all........

you haven't tried ALL have you?

It seems what your looking for is slate.? I have seen some landscaping shop carry them in the past..

Try city of San Gabriel, Rosemead, El Monte.. there's a lot out there.. especially along Valley Blvd.

My dad does landscaping.. and i've been on projects with him to know theres alot out there..

If your just looking for boulders... i would try Santa Fe Dam off 605 fwy..

David, those rocks look familiar? . Those from me? If so it's NOT slate! I got those off a beach down near San Diego while out surfing with my buddies.

Sean, those pics are from someone else. He's located on the east coast and the shipping charge is more than the cost of the rocks....
