so for 200.00 bucks I got me a 72x24x30 tank, 225 gallons. came with TONS of stuff anyway, the stand is factory made and looks nice but I can lift it by myself. it is not wobbly or flimsy it is just well doesn't look like it can hold it. The stand fits the tanks Dimensions so I know it is the correct stand but I just cant get around a 225 sitting on it, isnt that like 2 1/2 tons. I can post pics tomorrow but i just feel uneasy about this stand. were for my 180 and 125 I built them and well... was told to build them like tanks.

Is the tank made of real or compressed wood?...just wondering but either way if the tank is factory made and there are no noticeable defects I wouldn't worry about it...The stand for my 265 is incredibly lightweight considering how much weight it holds.

that's 1878.75 pounds, less than a ton, Stand should be fine if made for it.

nothing wrong with stand, has a split piece of wood, but i can put a screw in it, I still wanna picture for yall tomorrow, i am super paranoid since my 180 seal busted

It should be fine if this is what the seller was using for that tank. Just make sure the spot your using is leveled. You can always reinforce it yourself if you feel that uneasy about it. Mass produced stands from chain stores seems super flimsy, but they will hold fine. In any case, $200 is a bargain just for the tank alone.

Manufacturers have engineers design their stands to handle their intended loads, may look weak and flimsy to most but that's because we don't know what we are talking about. 4x4s are used because the ae cheap and easy to work with not because they ae needed for structural purposes.
