I was in a huge pet store in Lebanon, NH today. They had a 5" alligator gar for $17.99. Man! It looked awesome but I knew they got big. So I took the responsible route and decided against putting it in my 75 gallon. Later I found out they get to be around 9 ft long lol I guess I would need a couple zeros after the 75 for that monster. Great price though!

You could keep it in the 75 for the first year or two, but it'll eat anything else in the tank.

I saw one of these guys in a LFS near me a few days ago and just felt sorry for it!
