hi

i finish college this year i will get a job in car mechanic, so i will have some money but i will not have another money to move out my parent house so i though i could build a big pond in the garden for rtc,tsn , so i cost it up and it will cost a £1000 to heat the pond and filter , iam going to build a 12ft x 6ft x 2.5ft pond then i will half the pond into two ponds so 6x6ft ponds ,so one for catfish and one for stingrays ,so my qestion in how long can i have have rtc,tsn ,firewood catfish and giraffe catfish in a 6ft x 6ft pond.I was also so thinking about resued some pacus for the pond. what do you think? thanks

buy a stock tank. They are cheaper and heating it may be easier as you can insulate it. They come in various sizes. 6 ft might only keep the fish for a year or slightly more. RTCs grow fast, I've heard of 4 inch ones becoming 20 inches in 8 months. Fast growth.

a garden pond would be more aesthetically pleasing. its a good size, but you will eventually need to upgrade.

they sell stock tanks in the UK. I've found them in a google search. In fact I've seen 9 ft diameter stock tanks that are 2 ft deep.
