So i ordered 5 Ctenopoma kingsleyae...

and told them, that i want delivery this friday, because i work short there. Now i got the mail, that they got shipped...and will be here tomorrow. I work long tomorrow...That means only my girl is at home and she has no clue about fish.
I plan that she just openes the bags, and put them all in a bucket. Since they breath air i must not care for oxygen in water then. Temperatures are fine as well. You think thats ok for up to 6 or 8 hours till i come home and can put them in my tank?

well they got shipped today and will arrive tomorrow morning. My girl will put them in the bucket. I plan to fill the bucket with 20 litres of my tank water already.
 
I'd have her dose with amquel or some ammonia detoxifying treatment as soon as she opens the bag and dumps them in the bucket. Remember that upon opening a bag with fish in it that's been shipped, the exposure to oxygen could possibly cause a rapid ammonia spike. So have her dose with amquel just to be safe since you won't be there. At the worst, you wouldn't have had to have done it, and the Amquel won't hurt anything.

And run an airstone.

Do that, and you should be fine. Just make sure it's a bucket that's only used for fish stuff and doesn't have any nasty potentially poisonous stuff in it.
 
Well i have plastic tub...i plan to fill it with 20 litre of my tankwater. I have no airstone left and no Amquel... -.-As i said the temperature will be fine. She put them in and put a blanket over them.
