I just called my co-op board to figure out what date they needed all my tanks out by, and I was able to convince them to let me keep my swamp!

It's the one tank I'll be holding onto and also the hardest to move and rehouse the residents of.

This also means that I won't be moving out of my apartment in a rushed fashion, and (this bit is a little unfortunate) won't be immediately getting a dog.

I cannot even begin to express the stress this has taken off my shoulders. Everything else aside, the move and upheaval would have probably ended up costing me $50,000 over the next 2-3 years.

Sooooooooooooooooo relieved.

Good to see that things have worked themselves out somewhat.

whats the stock in the tank??

I've got quite an ecosystem going in there. The main stock is my turtle and a trio of tentacled snakes. There's a bunch of smaller fish swimming around to feed the snakes and thus far the turtle seems to think they're just branches and really ignore them unless he's trying to climb on them.

Also got a TON of plants, a few smallish flash plecos, 3 or so ropefish, some really cool nerite snails that actually spend most of their time on the glass above the tank or the wooden canopy top, and recently some hillstream loaches. I've actually seen those guys climb out of the water on the wall of the tank where the waterfall is, just hanging out like 2'' above the water where it splashes down. Pretty neat!
