Great Petsmart TIP!

I was browsing some fish related forum and there was a post about a person asking why prices different between their website and actual store. The prices online are cheaper because they take the store price, and substract things like shipping so the prices would come out the same, encouraging people to buy online.

Turns out that if you bring a print out of the online price, they will price match it and charge you the lower online price!

I heard of that too; and it applies. Unfortunately they don't sell fish online

Depends on if the manager is DIPUTS... Petsmart will price match any catalog not just their own. Also they will refund products that weren't purchased there.

I've done this, they also apply coupns and anyother discounts to the matched price.

QUICK all the community sellers make up fake lists of fish ALL WAY UNDERPRICED so all of us can go rip petsmart off lol jk but its a fine idea if i do say so myself

same goes for Petco. The reason its cheaper online than it is at the store is because theyre two virtually different businesses. Online also eliminates the middle man

It's true.
You print it out..
take it in..
and they HAVE to give it to you at that price...
They will NOT price match other stores prices on live stock though, because theirs are of "The highest quality."

They won't price match a online price from a different store. I tried that at petco with a price on Salt from petsmart. Then again the manager was kind of a B.

Yah petsmart does and petsupermarket here is esp. good with that =) I got a $75 filter for $25 thanks to big al's prices and petsupermarkets price matching!!

Unfortunately the nearest petsmart to me is almost an hour long drive away.
