My 18 inch snake head was moved to his new 100L enclosure today. He tried to test for weaknesses and jumped at the mesh and injured his face. should I add antibiotics ? I already added a bit of salt.

He didn't "test" for weakness, he was desperate to escape being trapped in a TINY cell!

I am assuming the OP is growing them out, but really I have kept Cobras, and even when they were tiny they needed plenty of space.
As for the injury, it will heal up as long as kept in good water.
Snakeheads are real tough nuts and can heal from some amazing injuries.
