Sadly, I awoke this morning to find my 5'' male electric blue jack dempsey dead. I have had him since he was only 1'' and I can't say it was a surprise considering their reputation. He had no visible injuries, water perameters where on point, temp 78f, good water flow and ate like a champion. On top of all that he was a great looking fish. Im done with EBJD for good. It's like that beautiful woman who for apparently no reason walks out on you one morning.

yeah. I hear you. He is the third that I have lost for seamingly no reason out of the 4 1'' I bought six months back. Now Im left with a 4.5'' female.
