I used to work at a Petco here where I live. They've had a 125 gallon tank with a stand for $819.99 for about three years now and haven't been able to sell it. Today my girlfriend and I went in to see if we could talk them down on it. Well it turned out the tank stand was for $30.00 on clearance, I thought it might be $30.00 off the price so I asked one of my friends thats an associate. She said it was only $30.00 out the door for the stand, but the tank was still priced at $419.99 out the door, so my girlfriend asked if she could check if it was on sale or was going to be. Needless to say she checked and came back and asked us to guess how much it was. I said $150.00 and my girlfriend said $250.00, boy were we wrong it was $40.00 out the door. So to make a long story short we bought a 125 gallon combo for $70.15 out the door with tax instantly. Boy were all my associate friends that still work there were jealous and told me they would have bought it if they had known the tank was on sale too. Glad I waited so long.
