Youo guys have probably seen this one already, but in my quest to find the perfect ray tank I stumbled upon www.glasscages.com and was thoroughly impressed with the selection. They have a lot of WIDE tanks as well as square ones. I am ordering the 175 Square which measures 48 x 48 x 17 Tall for $650. I'll make my own stand because theirs are expensive and I can probably build a nicer one anyway.

Hopefully this info helps someone!

Are you having it delivered or are they located neer u

Not a new site or anything... pretty much everybody knows about it. it seems pretty good but there has been some controversy over some of their tanks not being sealed correctly and leaking. I believe they have changes the type and amount of silicone they use, so hopefully your tank should be stably built.

Good luck with your ray tank

Yeah...i figured it wasn't a new site, but i had never heard of it before. Usually specialty size tanks are very expensive and i thought the prices were fairly reasonable.

Gees, a 500 gal. glass tank for $2200. Great deal but imagine the damage that would do if it busted.

:WHOA:

That shipping price is unbelievable even if it is an hour from your house. I live a little more than an hour from the place and it would cost me half that to pick it up in myself. They must do a lot of business where you live.

i paid the same price 2200 for my 500gallon acrylic
they have a bad rep from what i have heard

i havent had any problems with their 135 gallon. i havent heard of anyone on this forum getting a leaky tank, but i could be wrong. they build tanks out of a warehouse on his property i heard. thats how he can keep cost down. and they deliver the tanks themselves, LOADED IN TO YOUR TRUCK, when you get home have friends come over for pizza and to help bring the tank into the house. their tanks are LIGHTER then the allglass tanks. and they offer saffire which is clearer glass. and their price for a 240gallon long is less then a 125gallon at my LFS.
