Hello:
OO! OO! Teacher, call on me. I think I know the answer. Actually, in all seriousness, they are available. Some friends of mine catch them regularly and I've caught several myself. Once they settle down they make great pets and can live quite a long time. Just remember they can grow to three feet in length (I know, I've caught them that size). It's best to start with animals a foot long or a little under that size. Then you can train them to eat the way you want them to.

There are a few places around here that consistently have them but I do not think they ship. Check out some local herp shows, I usually see a few at each one. They are common in their native range and you should be able to buy them for cheap.
