What do you reckon is Australia's greatest fish?


For me it's a tie between Barramundi and Murray Cod, they are both great fish

There quite a few more I like but it's to late at the moment to think

Most aggresive of the Aussie fish i recon is Sooty Grunter/Mangove jack tie.

Most Stunning to see in Aquaria is a tie between Fullgrown Jungle Perch and probs a Big Barra or Cod

Most Colourful Aussie fish Would have to be a full grown Snakehead Gudgeon When in Mating Season

Greatest Aussie fish, well Nothing can beat a Jardini with brigtht pink/red colouring round their entire body and their Facial Markings are incredible! Heres a pic of my toga and he's my Favorite fish i ever owned! coming in second would be my Jungle Perch and third would be my Stonefish.

Barra or Lungfish.

Saratoga are over rated in my books. And if I had a choice, I would go a Clarance River Cod, or even a Mary River cod over a Murray.
