What's the best way to get rid of green stringy algea on my plants and on the sides of my liner around the pond? I have been vacuuming my gravel and doing water changes for weeks, don't seem to help.
Common Pleco, that's your best bet right there.
Other then that I don't know, I just leave it in there as it provides food for a whole summer for my plecos.
Green Clean Granular Algaecide is "supposedly" the best product on the market to get rid of string algae. I just bought some on ebay, and am expecting to get it any day now. I'll post before and after pictures to show you how it turns out.
