I recently have purchased a green aro and have had it for about 2 weeks now it is really annoying me cause it spends most of its time at the bottom of the tank, at lights out it becomes more active and as far as I know it swims around normally.
Is this normal?

your aro just recovered from agreat shock and all i suppose
give it some more time
as he gets more and more familiar he might start swimming around more
and has he stopped gulping often for air and farting as you had posted about this earlier

add another airstone this might reduce its air gulping, just a thought
how about eating and all
put some salt too
might calm him down a bit

Added another air stone already. Its eating very well crickets and white bait.
I have some epsom salts not sure if thats ok and am unsure on how much to add.

Don't use epsom salt you need to you aquarium salt and dosage is on the side of the container... And my Jardini was the same way when i brought him home, it just took a little time and he perked right up... As stated above add an air stone, salt and just wait he should be just fine...

1 tbsp per 10g should be enough
any untreated salt not table salt and not epsom
