green aro might be sick:(

hey guys, well aound 2-3 weeks ago i bought a 35cm green aro with a slightly damadged tail, well for over a week now i always see his laying down on the sand, looks like he is sleeping? I was wondering is this a bad thing? none of my other aros i have or kept does this only him? should i be worried?

Mine did it while it was in the tank on its own, it was always in the flow though.

Mine do it when they get spooked , maybe add some schooling fish to calm him a bit?
I am guessing you are checking the NH3/NO2/NO3 etc and they are fine.

try adding some tankmates to cheer him up like ck but I'm not experienced in that kind of problem.

tankmates wouldnt recomend u 2 do so if the fish unstable yet! btw dun hv any experience like dat....any other weird reactions?

i had a unstable silver once. ever since i added my CK everything went fine within a couple of days. i say try tankmates

yer i have a few JD's, Festaes, oscars and rosy reds lol....the water is fine but im not sure why he does it? he eats fine but all day he is laying down? only comes up at feeding time.
