I have an old 60-gallon Jewel Aquarium, slate-bottom, with hunter-green metal frame. I'm working on setting this classic back up again, and I was thinking of maybe painting the back wall of the aquarium the same hunter-green as the frame and stand. Does anyone have a tank with a dark-green background already with a pic I might be able to see to tell if this is the color I want to go with or not? Thanks.

I would just paint it black, also a pic of the tank would help. I usually get spray paint and paint my tanks black. It is much easier then the brush and can method. Black goes with anything IMO...
Also if you can paint the original frame the same colour as the background you want to use.
